The new configuration is available with Intel’s Dual Core Processor as well as the i3, i5 or i7 core processors. Up to 8GB of system memory is available when coupled with the “i” series core processors. The impressive I/O interface of the new 10.4” panel pc can consist of 2 x SATA 6Gb/s with 5V SATA power connector, 2 x USB 2.0, 2 x RS-232, 1 x RS-422/485, 1 x 6-pin header for KB/MS and 4 x USB 3.0 for the fastest data access retrieval available. Display outputs include analog CRT and DVI by DVI-I connector, 18/24-bit dual channel and Dual HDMI supports resolution up to 1080p. Three independent displays can be supported via the 2 HDMI and DVI-I connections through Windows 7 operating system.
Vartech’s 10.4 inch all-in-one panel pc industrial touch screen computer can be constructed with either a NEMA 4 (IP65) or NEMA 4X (IP66) front bezel to provide protection from harsh environments where falling dirt, dust, debris and splashing or hose-directed water may be present. All of Vartech’s panel pc computers come equipped with resistive touch technology eliminating the need for a mouse and keyboard. A multitude of touch devices can activate the touch interface such as fingers, fingernails, gloved hands and styluses. The new 10.4” panel mount LCD computer is also available with dual removable hard drives granting easy access and critical data capture and removal for storage in a fast durable configuration.
All VarTech Systems panel pcs as well as the new 10.4” panel computer can be integrated with a sunlight readable, high-luminance, solid-state LED-enhanced backlighting flat panel display. Other features can be added like PCI and PCIe expansion cards, CANbus, MODbus, DVD drive, WiFi and operate at a wide temperature range of -10 to 60C.

Vartech Systems Produces Two New Video Demos Highlighting The ToughStation Line of Fully Enclosed, Touch Screen, LCD Computers and Monitors

demos showcasing their rugged line of fully enclosed, touch screen computersand monitors. The new online multimedia presentations highlight many aspects of
these computers and monitors such as Intel processing technologies, resistive and
capacitive touch screen functions, NEMA 4 IP65 aluminum and NEMA 4X IP66
stainless steel enclosures and wide operational temperatures of -10 to 60C with
the addition of a thermal dissipation
heat sink. It also gives an in depth overview of the IP67 rated fully sealed
rear or bottom-exiting i/o ports secured
by Bulgin locking-style connectors and cables ensuring up to IP66 protection
across the entire unit. This video series is produced and shot in-house and on
location at VarTech’s sales and marketing headquarters in Baton Rouge, LA.
